MEADIA Solutions - Lost iPod, but replaced it

Written by Tristin on August 2, 2010

In April, I brought in an iPod for a battery replacement. "You should probably just get a new one," said the front clerk. After a bit of negotiation I convinced her that yes, the battery on an iPod could be replaced.

Five months later, Meadia eventually admitted that they had lost the device in the mail and agreed to provide me with a completely new iPod.

In the end, I'm happy. I gave them an aging iPod video and I got a brand-new iPod touch in return. Still, I'm going to have to agree with most of the other reviewers that, in matters of computer repair, you'd probably be better off to deal directly with Apple.

The Barber Shoppe - The attitude costs extra

Written by Tristin on August 2, 2010

I entered the shop to be greeted by a blank stare from the proprietor. I asked him if I could get a men's cut. He looked me up and down and said, "for you, $40." When I asked if he was serious, he told me to get out.

Maybe he just like of me, but in a town of hard-working fair-priced barbers, it baffles me how this guy stays afloat.
